David Vallés-Pérez

PhD Candidate at Universitat de València

Hi there!

I'm a PhD Candidate currently working at the Departament d'Astronomia i Astrofísica of Universitat de València, in Spain. My research involves the development of large cosmological simulations and analysis tools for them. I mainly focus on the assembly of galaxy clusters and the associated hydrodynamics of the intracluster medium.

Besides research, I am also interested in a wide range of topics, including open source software, science communication and outreach, teaching, and the intersection between science and society, with a particular focus on diversity and inclusion. Do not hesitate to contact me about any of the topics above (or others)! Make yourself home!
